Log No 188. Sun 24th Nov 2013 - A day off (2886 miles walked)

I had a welcome lie in and spent the morning writing up yesterday's log then trying to do some forward planning.

The public transport connections do not appear to be straightforward for getting round the River Mersey onto the Wirral Peninsula.

After lunch I drove ahead to the campsite in Southport, at least this is very convenient for getting from Preston to Liverpool, I'll have 2 nights here.
