Corran Ferry
I didn't get a good sleep, waking up several times and still with a headache.

There was no hurry as the 7 miles I did last night meant it was only 10 miles to my planned destination of the campsite at Lagnaha Farm. It was 09.30 when I set off and still with a slight headache.

The road was very busy so I was thankful there was a pavement from Corran Ferry all the way to the Ballachulish Bridge.

Loch Leven from Ballachulish Bridge
Crossing the bridge I stayed on the main road to Oban, it was good walking weather, cloudy but dry with a cooling breeze.

I can't say that I noticed any improvement in my ankles after my break but hopefully they'll be okay if I take it easy.

Peacock Butterfly?
I hadn't paid much attention to the map so it wasn't until I saw some cyclists through the trees that I realised there was a cycle path I could be walking on.

It was much more relaxing now that I didn't have to keep dodging traffic and I had plenty of time to stop and pick wild raspberries, the brambles aren't quite ready yet.

A butterfly obligingly stopped for a photograph, I thought it was a Peacock butterfly but I'm sure the markings are different.

I came across another dead snake, it was about 300mm long and it's underside was different in colour and pattern to it's topside but I couldn't tell which was which.

I arrived at the campsite after 4 hours so it has been a relaxing afternoon.
