Log No 77. Wed 10th Jul 2013 - End of a planned break (1251 miles walked)

Wednesday 10th July

I am finally back on track, well at least back to where I stopped before my break, not that I would recognise it with the weather being so different, there is not a cloud in the sky.

It had been a hectic day, my work commitment wasn't quite finished so I was back on site at 7.30 and it was a rush to get it finished before I had to leave at 10.30 to catch the ferry an hour later.

Luckily I got a lift right to Inverness with the Drilling Rig operator who was going home to Kilmarnock.

There was no problem with the bus connection and I got dropped off right outside the campsite at 19.30.

I have new boots and rucsac but I went overboard in Tescos buying everything on special offer. I must be carrying 4 days supply of food on my back. I weighed the rucsac and it was 20kg!! I hope I don't struggle too much with it tomorrow.
