Looking to the Mull of Kintyre
Whatever happened to the forecast bad weather? It was a bit on the windy side but I'll happily have more like this, a pity the scenery was nothing to get excited about.

The road by West Loch Tarbert
After passing through Kilberry the road cut inland a bit before getting alongside West Loch Tarbert.

The road was mainly through trees and was very quiet but with the sunshine it was actually very pleasant walking.

I did meet a real live walker, he was staying in Tarbert and was going to Kilberry to look at some recumbent stones then getting the bus back. I don't know what time his bus was, there is only one a day, but I met him at 12.00 and it had taken me 4 hours from Kilberry.

Coming round the head of the loch I should have turned right on the main road but went left into Tarbert.

There was no convenient campsite today so I was going to some shopping then get a bus on to what would be Thursdays campsite, I also wanted to pick up bus timetables to see how feasible it would be to have a base camp.

It was just a short day of 16 miles but I am now on the Mull of Kintyre.
